THINK BIG. DREAM BIG

“When a person doesn’t wake up in the morning with a dream, his one foot is already in the grave. He is a zombie. He is ready to die.”  --Bo Sanchez

----------------------------------------------------------

Let me share you this story I have read from one of the articles of Bo Sanchez.

Read on…

One day, I was eating in a restaurant.

In the middle of the meal, a middle-aged man came up to me and said, “Bo, I watch your program every Sunday.”
“Hey, come join us at the Feast,” I said, “It’s 10 times better—with 10 times the energy and fun.”
“One day, I’ll go,” he smiled. He continued, “When I was young, I wanted to become rich. I dreamt of driving a Porsche and living in a mansion. And I hit success. I now drive a Porsche and own a mansion. The reason why I watch you every Sunday is to find out what went wrong with my life. Because my life is now a mess. A few years ago, my wife left me. And my kids left me too. We don’t talk to each other anymore,” he said, a tear escaping his eye.

In that busy restaurant, I prayed over him.

And I’m going to tell you what I told him. “You made a mistake.
Your dreams were small. Driving a Porsche and living in a mansion are small dreams. You had dreams for your finances and career, but you had no dreams for the more important areas of your life—your marriage, your kids, and your spiritual life.”

End of the story.

I was touched by the story.

I asked myself: Do I dream also of driving a Porsche and living in a mansion?

I thought this kind of dream is already a big dream. Now I know, this dream is just a small dream. A tiny speck.  A kilobyte dream.

Currently, I’m working on my VISION BOARD in which my BIG DREAMS will be posted to remind me that I’m not yet in my grave.

Some of my BIG DREAMS ARE:
-Scholarship Foundation where I can send 10,000 students
-Home for the Aged for the abandoned elderly
-A Counselling Center with 24/7 support services
-To write five (5) International Best Seller Books written in different international languages
-To become a motivational speaker and business coach
-To own big businesses, invest big time in Stock market so I can help more people.
-To celebrate our wedding anniversaries with families and friends in our dream house located in the middle of the farm in Tagaytay with views of mountain and sea.

Whew! I feel so alive reading these dreams every now and then.

You will know that your dreams are BIG if they are connected to your soul. If you can say that you are ready to die once they are fulfilled.

I’m praying to God that HE bless these dreams and make it into reality by 2022. I’m giving my 101% commitment  to see these dreams come alive before the world.

We are just boarder, transient, guest, tenant, or just lilies of the field in this life. However, our stay should be a memorable and significant one.

How? By living the dreams that God has stored in your heart.

According to Bo Sanchez, our dreams should be MASSIVE, MAGNETIC and MEASURABLE.

Imagine that today is your last day. I mean,  God is calling you to our permanent home. I mean, you will die tomorrow before the sun rises.

My question to you. What BIG DREAMS in your heart that will die along with you?

Please, I’m begging…don’t let it die with you.

Live your dream, NOW!

Spell P-E-R-S-E-V-E-R-A-N-C-E

"With ordinary talent and extra ordinary perseverance, all things are attainable"
--Thomas Foxwell Buxton

To succeed in  life, I noticed that PERSEVERANCE is an important ingredient. I haven't heard successful people who never apply this key principle.

Le me give you some examples.

Colonel Sanders- He persevered 1009 times until someone accepted his chicken recipe known today as KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), with 18,875 outlets in 118 countries all over the world! (as of Dec 2013)

Coca-Cola- In it's first year of business, the company only sold 400 Cokes. Now, its a global leader in the beverage industry

Michelangelo- He endured 7 years lying on his back on a scaffold to paint the Sistin Chapel

Michael Jordan-He was cut from his high school basketball team. Now, he is a legend. In 1999, he was named the greatest North American athlete of the 20th century by ESPN

Walt Disney- In 1919, nobody wanted to hire him as either an artist or as an ambulance driver. Now,  the Walt Disney Company owns five vacation resorts, eleven theme parks, two water parks, thirty-nine hotels, eight motion picture studios, six record labels, eleven cable television networks, and one terrestrial television network. The company operates through five major business "segments." Its parks segment is by far the world's largest operator of theme parks in terms of guest attendance per year and its motion picture segment is one of the six major film studios in Hollywood. As of 2013, the company had annual revenues of over U.S. $45 billion and employed approximately 175,000 people.

How about you? Do you have your own story of perseverance to share? If not now, maybe in 25 years time or more when your success story has already made you a fortune.

Your success will happen only if you are persevering at the right dream.

Those successful people I have mentioned earlier have DREAMS connected to their SOUL. That's the only reason that separates them from the rest. So do you.
